Chapter 170

Sidney woke up and looked at the clock. It was 9:18a and he smiled as he replayed the last few hours in his mind. Karen began to stir in his arms and opened her eyes seeing him smiling.

"Do I even want to know what you're smiling about?"

"You were there every step of the way so you should already know what I am smiling about."

"And just think, we still have another whole week for honeymoon fun."

"You still don't mind that we're not going anywhere?"

"Sid, do you want to take me somewhere that we could spend a lot of money and just stay in the hotel room?"

"We'd go out to eat eventually" he said getting a laugh out of her.

"I just want to be with you. Maybe after next season we can go to a deserted island and just stay on the beach with no one else around us."

"You pick the place and I will be more than willing to go with you." Sidney leaned down and captured her lips "you hungry?"

"For food or you?"

"Well hopefully both but how about food for now?"

"I'd love some. I'm going to grab a shower while you order room service."

"Anything special you want?"

"As long as there is coffee, I'm pretty flexible" she said giving him a kiss then getting out of bed.

"Like you really need to tell me that baby" he said laughing as Karen turned around and gave him a look. She went into the bathroom and got the shower going, letting the water warm up before stepping in.

Sidney got off the phone from ordering breakfast from room service. They told him it would be 20 minutes so he decided to join Karen in the shower. He walked into the bathroom and pulled back the curtain slowly. Sidney just watched the water ran over Karen's body as she was rinsing herself off, making the suds run down her legs.

"Are you going to join me or just stand there letting all the cold air come in?"

"I was waiting for the invitation" Sidney said stepping in behind her.

"You have a standing invitation stud to always join me" she said turning around "and now that you're here, will you wash my back?"

Sidney took the soap as Karen turned back around. He lathered up his hands and ran it over her back. When he was done, Karen turned around to let the water rinse her back. Sidney took a step closer to her, wrapping his arms around her body and kissed her hard. He moved them so Karen was backed up against the wall. As soon as she uncovered the food, Sidney stepped out of the bathroom with the other robe on. He came over and sat down at the table beside Karen and ate their breakfast.

"When do we need to check out?" she asked him.

"Well the hotel was nice to extend the check out time to 2p for us and any other guest that might have stayed last night but we don't have to stay that long."

"Would you mind if we headed home in a little bit?"

"How soon is a little bit?"

"An hour after we eat. I just want to go home and be with you."

"I think we can make that happen" he said smiling at her as they continued their breakfast.

At 11:30a, Sidney and Karen had everything packed up and ready to leave. Karen saw a hint of sadness on Sidney's face.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, just I had a little plan and we skipped over a couple things."

"Like what?"

"It's nothing baby, don't worry about it" he said as they started walking out into the hall. They made their way to the elevator and waited for it to come up.

"You had a plan to have sex everywhere in that room didn't you?" she asked smiling at him.

"Maybe. I just wanted our wedding night to be special and erotic."

"And what part didn't fulfill that?"

"Sex on the table, on the front balcony, on the desk...."

"Gee, only those three other places?"

"Don't make fun, we could have hit every place in that hotel room."

The elevator dinged and the doors opened letting them step in with Sidney pressing L for the lobby "something that has been brewing inside of me for a long time." They both laughed and closed the gap between each other kissing the whole way downstairs.

As they got out of the elevator, they headed to the front desk and Karen smiled seeing Natalie and Max checking out as well.

"Look who we have here" Karen said walking up and getting a hug from Natalie. "Did you guys stay last night?" she asked as they walked a few feet away from the guys.

"Yeah, Max surprised me with a room last night and of course I couldn't say no."

"Of course you couldn't. What is it about those hockey boys that we can't say no to?"

They both looked over at Sidney and Max and laughed "not sure yet but we'll figure it out." Natalie glanced down briefly then looked back up at Karen "he did surprise me with this" she said bringing her hand up.

Karen saw the diamond ring on her finger and screamed "OH MY GOD! IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS?"

"I guess you did it huh?" Sidney asked Max.

"Yep, didn't want to let that one get away" Max told him.

"Max surprised me after we got to the room. I went to get a shower and when I came out, there were candles everywhere. He asked me to marry him and I was shocked I couldn't speak. I think he thought I was going to turn him down."

"Oh Nattie, I am so happy for you" she said hugging her. "You are both so perfect for each other."

"I know and I was scared not knowing where this relationship was going and now I know. I do love him Kiki."

"And he loves you" she told her friend as they hugged again. They walked back over to the guys and Karen gave Max a huge hug "you better take care of her Maxwell."

"I know or I will have you to deal with."

"Congrats buddy."

"Thanks girl."

"Hey now Max" Sidney said seeing them still locked in an embrace "you have your own woman, let go of mine."

Karen let go of Max "I love when he gets overprotective like this."

"Me too" Max said seeing Karen go into Sidney's arms "means he has my back on the ice."

"Are you guys joining us at the house?" Sidney asked.

"Well our stuff is there Siddo" Max said.

"Gotcha. Well let's head home then." The hotel offered their limo to take the four of them home and they thanked them as they headed outside to wait for the limo to pull around.

After they got to the house, they walked in and saw a houseful of guests that was not originally there.

"Ok, our honeymoon is not starting until everyone is out of the house stud."

"I know baby. Most of them leave today anyway" he said kissing her head.

Most everyone got up when they heard them come in and they found out when people were leaving. Max, Natalie, Kris and Marc-Andre were all going to Montreal and Jordan was flying home as well. Sheril and Diane had a later flight but said they would go early to the airport to get out of Sidney's and Karen's hair. Sidney had ordered some pizza for everyone so they could eat together before they all left.

Another two hours had passed and everyone left for the airport. Sidney drove Max, Natalie, Sheril and Diane and the others had a rental car. They got to the airport and Sidney parked the car. Everyone went in as Karen and Sidney waited off to the side as they got checked in.

"You ok baby?"

"Yeah, just a little sad all my friends are leaving. Thank you for bringing them here for the wedding."

"I wasn't going to let you get married without your friends around." Karen leaned up and kissed him as they waited for everyone. When they were done, Karen and Sidney said goodbye to their friends and watched them all head through security before leaving.

"So now what Mr. Crosby?"

"We head home and get this honeymoon started right Mrs. Crosby." Sidney kissed her before they walked out to the car to head home.

As Sidney and Karen walked into the house, they saw the mess that was staring at them. They looked at each other and Karen kissed his cheek before going into the kitchen to get a couple garbage bags and cleaner. They cleaned up and as Sidney took the garbage bags out, Karen got the vacuum out. When Sidney came back, Karen was still running the vacuum and he just stood back to watch her. There was an overwhelming urge growing as she moved the vacuum across the floor. Sidney couldn't take it anymore and walked over to her, taking the vacuum out of her hands and turning it off.
