The next morning, Karen woke up to and empty bed beside her but a note laid on the pillow. She grabbed it, opening it to read what it said.

Karen loved the fact he could be like this only to her and she was glad about that. She got up and took a shower before calling Natalie and heading downstairs to get some breakfast.

They stopped laughing long enough to finish breakfast and decide to get their swimsuits on afterwards to wait for the guys to get back from practice. As they were sitting by the pool, Karen saw Mario come walking up.

"Hey stranger. Didn't think the any of the executives were coming."

"Do I dare ask how you two are here?" he smiled at them.

"We left Friday after work and have Monday off. Decided to take in a game and an off day with the guys before heading back on Monday."

"You should have called me, I would have brought you down."

"We needed the car ride" Natalie offered up and Karen just smiled at her.

"Fair enough."

"So can I at least offer up seats in the suite for tonight's game?"

"That we may take you up on. Thanks Mario."

"Anything for you Karen."

"See I knew babysitting Lauren all those years would pay off in the end."

"I think it has more to do with being married to Sidney" he whispered to make her smile. "I'll see you guys later to head to the arena."

"Bye Mario" they said in unison.

"So, win or lose, we have tomorrow planned out?"

"Yep. It'll be a nice day off for Sid and Max to get them away for a few hours."

"It'll be nice just to get you and Sidney out of bed to actually do things outside." Karen just looked at her "my bad, we made need to staple your clothes on to you."

"Yeah, yeah whatever. I am going to go get my shower since the guys should be back soon."

"I'm going to stay here for a few more minutes so I will see you when it's time to go."

"Ok." Karen left her sitting there and went back to her room. When she got up there, Karen took off her suit and went to get her shower. She looked in the mirror and saw a little bit of redness on her shoulders. Turning on the water, Karen let it get to a nice warm temperature before getting under and washing off the sun tan lotion.

Meanwhile, Sidney was coming back to the room after getting back from practice and heard the shower going. He had just taken one at the arena and decided to wait for her in the room. About 20 minutes later, Karen got out of the shower and dried off, wrapping a towel around her body. She walked out of the bathroom and went to her bag to get some aloe for her shoulders.

"You know, if you wanted to just wear that tonight I'm sure you'll help the team by distracting the Canes away from their game" Sidney said from the bed startling her.

"Wouldn't it work better if I was naked...like this" she said dropping the towel.

Sidney walked over to her "you got a little burn from the sun. Can I help you out there?" he said in a husky voice. Karen just handed him the bottle of aloe and turned her back to him. His touch was soft as he lightly applied it to her shoulders. He turned her around and saw some red on her cheeks and nose, putting some aloe there as well. "Feel better?"

"Yes, thank you" she said staring up at him waiting for his lips to touch hers.

"You know if I kiss you, it may lead to other things."

"You need a nap don't you? I can just help you fall asleep." Karen lifted the shirt off his body then went to undo his pants, letting them fall to the floor. Sidney stepped out of them and finished getting undressed as Karen walked over to the bed, crawling up on it and laying down. Sidney came over and sat on the bed, opposite her.

"How was practice?"

"How about I show you?" Karen just raised her eyebrows and smiled. Sidney started to explain what they did in practice, making marks with his fingers over her legs. Karen sat on the dresser in front of Sidney and fixed his tie. He got his jacket on and made one last look in the mirror. "You can't do anything else stud. All this can't get any sexier then it is right now."

Karen smiled and watched him leave before leaning back against the mirror and closed her eyes to secretly pray for a win. A little while later, Karen left to get Natalie from her room and meet Mario in the lobby. When they got there, the whole Lemieux family was there including Troy, Trina, and Taylor. Karen smiled in their direction and Taylor made a run for her so she could hug her.

"Hi sis."

"Hey Tay. I guess you heard the news."

"Yes and I am so glad you're part of the family."

"Me too." Karen kept hugging her until Trina came over. She let go of Taylor to get a hug from her "hi...mom is it?"

"You said a mouthful sweet girl. I am so happy you and Sidney got married. You are the one for him and don't let anyone tell you different."

"I won't. I love him too much for that to happen."

Trina pulled back and looked at her "it's because he loves you and never gave up on being with you. I just have one question."

"What's that?"

"That when you come home for the summer, you let me throw you guys an actual wedding. I don't dispute the fact that you guys are truly married, I would like to marry my son off like I've always dreamed."

"I would love that mom and since we had our dream wedding, you can plan it any way you want it."

"Thank you Karen, that means a lot." They hugged again and everyone left for the arena.

As the game got underway, the Canes came out and scored first putting a doubt of how the game would go after that. But when Geno scored to even it up there was a renewed sense in the group. A little bit later in the first, Sidney scored his goal and Karen couldn't wipe the smile from her face. Geno followed up with his second goal of the game and when the first period ended, the group of family and friends knew the Pens had this game in the bag. There was no scoring in the second period but the guys played strong and kept the Canes from coming back. But the third period had a different feel. The Canes scored to come within one but that was it and the Pens managed to get three more goals to win the game at 6-2 and take a 3-0 lead in the series. Everyone in the suite couldn't stop celebrating and waited for some time to pass before heading down to congratulate the guys.
